the carols are starting to play in the mall, decorations are rising up one by one, the all too familiar green fir tree with the bright star right at the top and of course, the hustle and bustle of getting the gifts for 25th.
christmas is indeed around the corner. the season of joy and giving.
the time of the year when santa comes with his reindeer...HO! HO! HO! when families comes together with log cakes and turkey to celebrate.
how's your preparations?
BUT WAIT.
what are we celebrating?
whats the ocassion?
where's the birthday boy?
give me sec...i think i see him now. yeap. i do. there he is...standing right there. can't you see him? right there.
outside the door...by the streets, pacing up and down. quick! get him. what are you waiting for? have you forgotten that our dear Jesus was born on christmas?
have you forgotten the only reason he came?
For you and me he came. because of the great love for us he came. to give us the greatest gift of all. the gift of life. where once and for all, the sacrificial of lambs was abolished because he himself, sinless and pure took up our sins and paid the price for it.
As simple as that, this lamb is presenting to us the greatest gift of all. the gift of life.
have you taken your gift? or is it still lying there outside your door?
it doesn't matter if you're chinese or indian, tall or short, fat or skinny. he knows you all the same...

so go on...take that step and open your door. he is waiting. just for you.
