its knowing we deserve more than this
that upsets me so much
its knowing we tried so hard
yet not reaping its fruit
that saddens me
its knowing we could do it
but never got the chance to prove it
that causes such ache
its being the captain and leading it to failure
that the bitter taste of defeat
can't get off my tongue
i know its only a game...
but still,
sigh.
i've placed my heart into this.
